Background

Natalie Valencia joined the Koret Shelter Medicine program as a Learning Coordinator in May of 2025. With a strong background in education, she brought valuable experience from her eight years teaching agriculture at the high school level.

Education & Experience

Natalie plays a vital role within KSMP, including planning and coordinating online learning, helping create and build online learning communities, and serving as the point person for learners in the Shelter Learniverse.

Natalie holds a BS and MS in Agricultural Education along with a Single Subject Teaching Credential, all from Chico State. 

Natalie enjoys spending time with her family, her daughters Emilia and Nora, and her husband, Isaac. She also enjoys being active, puzzles, and spending time with her four dogs.
